Gordy loves his Detroit Bears baseball team and his favorite pitcher Max Yamato. His parents are taking him to see his first major league game. But first he must get through what seems like a longer than normal school day. Gordy had so much fun at the game he convinces his Dad to take him to future major league parks on his summer breaks.
Paula Miller is an award-winning former television reporter/anchor and served in the Virginia General Assembly. Currently, she is a communications director for Virginia’s largest construction project. She and her husband spent years attending their children’s little league, high school and college games, including their son’s (current MLB Scout) baseball games.

Gordy is thrilled to attend his first major league baseball game and see his favorite pitcher. Gordy learns it won’t be his only game.
